This gesture experienced from everybody, at any age. Doesn't it make you feel great. So great that, one person that I know, she cries every time she does it. 
She said that raising her arms to the sky, at any moment she did that, made her cry continuously.

I have seen also other animals doing this gesture. So it is not just a religious belief gesture and not only just for a human essence in there.

Have you tried to feel a little stupid and raised your hand(s) all up standing on the street for example?

Come on and do it. How does it feel?

I keep questioning myself, what is the connection to this gesture? If feels like there is a wire pulling us and connecting to somewhere else, isn't it?
 I remember in a interview on Actor's studio when Jodie Foster mentioned that she found that one gesture from one of her movies(Nell), made her cry every time she did it. Althought the gesture was different from the arms up, she said she felt a connection to her past.
Woud it be case then for my little stupid gesture that makes me feel that I can see the whole universe just by doing it.
